EXCLUSIVE- GBAM AWARD'S "TOP TEN CONTENDERS"

While we're all waiting for the final list of the prestigious GBAM awards, I decided to go back to the preliminary results, and after my own calculations, these 10 nominees are just ready for a grand slam victory. Am not saying they are the winner, there is always the big surprise, but 6/10 should laugh at the end.

10-BLUE SEA

His real name is Oye Moses, a good looking Pop artiste born in Ondo state but raised up in Lagos.  Blue Sea is one contender the rest should watch out for, The "Lagos Boy" crooner outshine other Pop/RnB Act Of The Year nominees to claim number1 spot.

The energetic fast rising female act keep two categories and merely loss one. Faycol is not new in this game at all, she has already worked with top guns in Nigeria like 9ice, Adol, the Benin Republic Star Nina, and she's done with two videos already. With her contending for The Female Act Of The Year, and Collaboration Song Of The Year, I see her winning, not losing.

8-Xplain

I still can't differentiate this talented rapper from Late Dagrin. His flows, style, and flavor reminds me of the Akogun  himself. Xplain keep all his categories and even came out first for the Collaboration Song Of The Year with his hit song "Salaye"ft Tee Dot Unbeaten. Still running for The Male Act Of The Year, I expect the "Ajabale" Crooner to smile at the end of the day.

The most voted blog site, with outstanding marging. Fans pour on our facebook page to vote for naijatunez as they proceed to the finals as the winner. I won't be surprise if they should win at last because their fan base on Facebook/twitter is just incredible.

The soul music act keep her feet on track for the race, she maintained the Female Act Of The Year And Collaboration Song Of The Year respectively. With her inspirational song "My LIFE" gaining more air plays and positive responds home and abroad, the soprano Vocalist seems ready to rumble come the final day of the event

Gagaaaaaaa! Small but mighty. The most voted female Act Of The Year seems unbeatable, hopefully undisputed. OGUNLADE TEMITOPE popularly known as TOPSY GAGA was hailed from Osun state born and breed in Lagos. She started her music career at the tender age of thirteen 13 years old of age when the ceo of Money hyper( MH) records discovered her. she as done a lot of collaboration with most upcoming and stars in Nigeria among which are Faze, Sound Sultan, Eedris Abdulkareem, Mr Raw, Adol, Jhybo, Jahborne,pherowshuz and she won the best rapper on I'd cabasa freestyle beat battles. Well, I pray she win this battle.

 Have you seen The Song Of The Year (IT'S ME) Video? If not you're still on a long thing. Serah Mojisola Sowole popularly known as Cocoice, is an indigenous rapper who stands out with her punch lines, unique flows, crazy style, word play and delivery. She recently got signed to Golden Records and is not a newbie in the music industry. She got introduced into the industry when she released “If You Don’t know”; a remix of Da Grin’s  hit song ‘Pon Pon’ and “Its Me” which got  massive airplay and both videos were directed byMatt Max which made Cocoice a household name . Coco is gunning for two crown, Song Of They Year and Female Act Of the Year. Well, she deserves it.

He mercilessly defeated all other nominees to claim the top spot for the Male Act Of The Year with ease.  Akintunde Tolulope Gabriel a.k.a G-TAG has dropped two hot new singles from his upcoming album. The songs, Champions and Bamijo, are both afro R&B songs that are expertly composed to establish him as one of the most exciting new entrants into the Nigeria’s music scene.

The Overall Most Voted nominee, beaten all 80 nominees and sets a new record, JerryDaDiva Concept (JC) is a dynamic agency in a class of its own, a specialized company for modelling, ushering, catering and various confectionery.  The agency seeks models that are suitable either for catwalk, catalog, magazines, TV commercials, film television extras, actors/actresses and music video performers, corporate hospitality events. Some say they've already walk away with this, let's hope its true.

The most nominated Act with  Four categories Respectively (RnB/Pop Act Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Brand Of The Year *DreamOut Music Empire, and Collaboration Song Of The Year *Salaye*). The prolific producer/singer/songwriter/sound engineer  is undisputedly one of the best in the Nigeria music industry. In his own words he said " my production comes with unUsual approach whereby I allow the music to express itself, simplicity and clarity has always been the pillar of my productions. I allow artistes to express themselves and trust me beat will make you swing like a pendulum". I believe he's going to make The Producer Of The Year, making it FIVE categories!!! He's my no1 oooooh!
