The GBAM Awards Voting System

This article describes the current voting system.

After the preliminary voting,we receive lots of complains because many find the voting result very complicated. While the process is indeed transparent, the basic idea is simple and the intention is laudable. Basically the idea is to make sure that the winner has majority support.
To avoid further complains, The GBAM Award final voting for up and coming artiste categories will be conducted on our facebook page, while the Recognition categories will be conducted on our website.

UP AND COMING ARTISTE CATEGORIES
With 7 different categories and 27 nominees, the votes will ONLY be conducted on our Facebook page, and to avoid repeatable votes, only those who like our fan page will be able to vote.

How this will work?
Your Picture is your ballot Paper, while the 'likes' you get will only count as your vote.

What should I do?
Kindly send the picture of your choice to our mail weareomgrecordz@gmail.com before NOV 25. Nominees that fail to do this will be declined with the assumption of withdrawal.

When will the voting start?
The voting will start for NOV 30.

How can I get my fans to vote for me?
Its simple, suggest the page www.facebook.com/omgrecordz to all your fans, friends. Only those who like the page will see your picture and like it to support you.

Our facebook page will be opened till NOv 29 (10 days).

GBAM AWARD NOMINATIONS

The official organizers of the GBAM Awards, WeareOMG Recordz are pleased to announce the Final Nominees for the 2013 edition of GBAM Awards, while the day and venue of the event still remain withheld.

. WeAreOMG expanded the category list to include categories for OAP Of The Year, Producer Of The Year, Rave Of The Moment and so on etc. We recognize the continued popularity and successes of these segments and want to make sure that these groups are recognised as part of the Nigeria Entertainment community.

Perhaps you do not know what the GBAM Awards is all about?
The GBAM Awards is an entertainment award held in Nigeria, with the sole purpose of celebrating and recognising the numerous contributions of young entertainers to the Nigerian and African entertainment industry, while at the same time promoting the image and rich culture of Nigeria.

 After the preliminary voting ended, the award nominations holds no surprises because all the nominees were expected to make the finals.
The awards are based entirely on fans votes, so fans are encouraged to vote online.

Online voting begins on Nov 30, while fans can vote via the OMG Recordz facebook page www.facebook.com/omgrecordz. In other to prevent repeatable votes, only those who like our page can vote, so all the nominees should encourage there fans to like our page.
